Raveena

Raveena Aurora was raised by Sikh parents, living in both Queens and Connecticut. Growing up, she was immersed in American R&B and Bollywood. She emulated singers like Sade and Minnie Riperton as well as Indian artist Asha Puthli and began writing songs at just 13.

She studied at the NYU Tisch School of the Arts, and eventually crossed paths with producer Everett Orr, everything came together, with Raveena describing their musical partnership, “a perfect match.”

In 2017, she released Shanti, a four-song EP, as well as four singles. Her full-length debut, Lucid, came out earlier this year. Vice dubbed it “a Dreamy R&B Universe” while Clash gushed, “'Lucid' Is Absolutely Heavenly.”

Raveena is currently touring and about to return to the east coast.
