The Rosie G.spot is the HQ for playMYmusic.FM, a showcase for unknown artists from a myriad of musical genres, giving them the opportunity to have their music heard not only by the public but also by movers and shakers in the ever-changing record industry.
The Internet completely altered the music business. Evolving from vinyl records to CD’s and Mp3’s, music buyers moved away from brick and mortar record stores in favor of downloads, streaming services and Internet radio. This metamorphosis continues. Although terrestrial radio is still strong, Internet radio is fast becoming the medium for underground artists from all genres to introduce their music to the world.

A Word from Rosie G.
I started down this road as a singer, experiencing the euphoria musicians and singers feel when recording in a studio or performing for an audience. I moved into voice-over work for radio and Websites, eventually landing a coveted role as an on-air personality for WJAZ-FM - (Jazz), WNEW-AM (American Standards), WRAT-FM (Modern Rock) , NYLatinMix.com (Internet Salsa/Merengue radio show), VH1 Radio/Rhapsody.com (Music Programmer for The Perfect Beat) and WBLS-FM (Both Urban and a Dance mix show).
I’ve even been an artist manager. Immersed in this world, with my knowledge and love of this most universal art form, I am determined to help the next generation of artists achieve their dreams., playMYmusic.FM is the culmination of my own odyssey, a groundbreaking podcast that will remain forever committed to supporting and breaking the Unknown, Unsigned and Unheard.
