Lazzy Lung

You never know where you are going to find a good rock band and this one comes from Beirut, Lebanon. Lazzy Lung first started with just Canadian singer-songwriter, Allan Chaaraoui in 2006 as a solo artist but then it became a revolving door of musicians but then in 2012, they released their debut album, Strange Places. The album received critical acclaim and they got to do a regional tour. Since then musician and producer Allan Chaaraoui who is the leader of this outfit has been writing and recording.

The band had won Rolling Stone's Battle of the Bands in 2012 and everything seemed to go smoothly skyrocketing them into people's conscientiousness. Then a series of mishaps set in with their gear being stolen and some strife within the band. They also had a documentary film made about their band and shows, the director wanted to show that in the Middle East people listen to different types of music, go out and party like everywhere else. It's a good way to let the rest of the world know that it's not all the images that are seen in that part of the world. Lazzy Lung has released 3 albums and like all bands and musicians around the world have been busy writing and recording new music during the pandemic. Nowadays Allan Chaaraoui and session musicians create the type of rock music that has you be in your feelings. In October of last year, they released a live song, Younger years and we expect great things to come from Lazzy Lung in the not too distant future. Support independent music and musicians worldwide. Happy listening!
