One of Brazil’s preeminent female rappers, Karol COnka is also a singer, actress, producer, model and TV personality. Her music is a potent brew of hip-hop and Brazilian pop. Releasing her first album, Baluk Freak, in 2013 gained her new fans and accolades like the Multishow’s Best New Artist award. The single “Boa Noite” was used for the FIFA 14 video game, appropriate for a singer from a country obsessed with futbol.
Ambulante was issued in 2018 after a break between music releases, and the album from which our featured song, “Saudade” is taken. Her latest single, “Nossa Que Isso” was released just last month.
