This alternative rock band from Manchester, England has been playing the club circuit throughout England. The founders of the band, Charlie Woods, (vocals, guitar) and Jake Macleod, (bass, guitar) have known each other since they were 14 years old and have been writing music since then. They bonded over their love of such bands, New Order, The Maccabees, Foals and have a psychic connection that is scary.
They both grew up in musical families with Charlie Woods grandfather who was the leader of a Big Band and his Dad was a jazz musician. Jake Mac's family were more operatic with his Dad more into rock a la Steely Dan. Originally from Brighton, they moved to Manchester and started writing songs but were frustrated that they couldn't find the right people for their music. After writing for other bands they decided on their own. They made their debut in 2018 with the EP, EP1 and have since toured around England and played the 4xFar Festival in Coachella Valley, California last January. In August of last year, they released their latest single, Rift and it's already getting attention. We can't wait for them to come back to the U.S. and play more shows.
