Who said Rock is dead? Many have been saying this very thing for the past several years including Gene Simmons of Kiss. Fast forward to 2021 and there is a lot of great music coming out of the U.K. In my search for rock bands, this one stood out, As Everything Unfolds. The six-piece band from High Wycombe in Buckinghamshire, England has been blowing people's minds at their live gigs. I will admit when I heard their song Wallow I was blown away. It was a full-frontal wall of rock coming at me. The band has been playing together since 2013, although lead singer Charlie Rolfe joined in 2014. She said she made her first stage appearance when she was just 13 years old. Founding members Jon Cassidy and Adam Kerr have been playing together for a decade.
As Everything Unfolds is one of several new modern Metal rock bands on the scene. When the band was recently asked to describe their music.... they said it's hard to describe because it has elements of post-hardcore metal, alternative, electronic elements with at times a splash of RnB and Soul. Since 2017 the band has released several singles and their debut EP, Collide was released in 2018. Check out this talented hard-rocking band and their debut album, Within Each Lies The Other which will be released this month on March 26.
