The first time I heard the soulful voice of, Allen Stone, I had to know immediately, "Who is this singer?" He grew up in Chewelah, Washington and began his career singing in his father's church. He started collecting classic albums from the 60's and 70's but it was Stevie Wonder's album, Innervisions, at age 15 that influenced him. He as recorded several albums and his voice has been described as a, "pitch-perfect powerhouse." He has been influenced by Marvin Gaye, The Meters, Stevie Wonder,James Morrison and Jamie Lydell.
