From Rosie G.’s ancestral homeland, singer/guitarist Carlos Cros makes accessible and energetic Flamenco-inspired music in Barcelona, Spain. Creating passionate songs about love and loss, Cros has been a stalwart presence on the indie music scene, releasing his own recordings and featured on several compilations.
His 2007 debut album, Escucha Los Latidos, featured two guitarists in addition to himself. 2014’s Nadie Se Resiste Al Amor featured the award-winning single, “La Distancia.” His most recent album. La Mejor Defensa from 2017, offers more earnest and enthusiastic songwriting and performances and earns high praise in the Spanish music press.
