MGMT has gone through a lot as musicians. They won a Grammy for Best Remix, Non-Classical and nominated for a Grammy in the Best New Artist category. Rock bible, Rolling Stone magazine spotlighted them as the "Top Ten Artists" to watch. They decided to take a break from all the madness and start their own Independent record label, MGMT records.
Their music is a mix of genres from Rock to Pop but described as psychedelic synth-pop. They have been compared to artist, Beck but you can check it out yourself and decide. MGMT are originally from Middletown, Connecticut but are now based in NYC. Support Indie music locally, nationally and Worldwide. Happy listening
