MGMT has gone through a lot as musicians. They won a Grammy for Best Remix, Non-Classical and nominated for a Grammy in the Best New Artist category. Rock bible, Rolling Stone magazine spotlighted them as the "Top Ten Artists" to watch. They decided to take a break from all the madness and start their own Independent record label, MGMT records.
Their music is a mix of genres from Rock to Pop but described as psychedelic synth-pop. They have been compared to artist, Beck but you can check it out yourself and decide.
