Young Rising Sons

The indie rock and roll scene has been bursting at the seams with bands and singers from all over the world. This exciting alternative rock band, Young Rising Sons has been on the scene for quite some time now. They hail from Red Bank, New Jersey, and the band formed around 2010 when childhood friends, drummer Steve Patrick and bass player, Julian Dimagiba started making music together in and around their hometown of Red Bank, NJ. They were hanging out one night in NYC at a bar checking out some music when they saw singer Andy Tongren performing and asked him to join the band. Since then the band has written and recorded several singles including their song, High. They were approached in 2013 by producers Shep Goodman and Aaron Accetta and were signed to their label Dirty Canvas and made their self-titled album debut in 2014 with Interscope.

The band toured with singer Halsey, Weezer, The 1975, and others, and their song, High was featured on a couple of TV shows. In 2017 they left Interscope records to continue on their own. The band took a hiatus in 2018 from the whirlwind they had been living and regrouped and just released a new single, Happy in November of last year. The band is writing and recording new music and we expect a new EP soon. Check out his talented indie pop band and support independent music and musicians. Happy listening!
