Vázquez Sounds

Vázquez Sounds became a YouTube sensation with a cover of Adele’s “Rolling in the Deep” in 2011 when the members were in their teens. The single hit number one on the Mexican Top 100 Chart and was certified platinum. The trio of siblings, Abelardo, Gustavo, and Angela Vázquez are the children of Mexican producer Abelardo Vázquez. It’s clear the musical talent doesn’t fall far from the tree in this family.

Sony signed the group and released its eponymous debut in 2012, followed by Invencible two years later. The latter earned them a Latin Grammy nomination for "Best New Artist." The trio and Sony eventually parted ways, and Vázquez Sounds continue as an independent group. Its latest release is the single, “Phoenix.”

Vázquez Sounds is comprised of Abelardo "Abe" Vázquez (guitar, bass, piano, harmonica, accordion, ukulele, keyboard, vocals, percussion, drums), Gustavo "Gus" (drums, percussion, guitar, banjo, harmonica, piano), and Angea “Angie” (lead vocals, piano, harmonica, guitar, ukulele) Vázquez.
