The other day I was scanning through some music videos and came upon this duo. I loved the song "Good Day" that I was listening to and had to find out more about them. The duo, Surfaces are from College Station, Texas, and have been making music since 2017. The duo consists of Colin Padalecki and Forrest Frank. These talented members met when Colin Padalecki and his sister were making music since high school and were uploading it on the internet. Forrest Frank heard their music and contacted Colin Padalecki and the rest is history. Their music is a mix of pop, reggae, jazz, and calypso. It's feel-good music that makes you smile when you hear it. They released their 1st album in 2017 titled Surf and a year later after signing with independent label, Caroline records released their 2nd album, Where The Light Is. Their album became a Top 40 hit in several countries including the U.S. Last September they released their 3rd album, Horizons, and during this pandemic recorded the song, Learn To Fly with legendary rock singer, Elton John.
