Sainté

It's not often that a rapper catches my attention but Sainté did. This prodigy has been gaining followers at the speed of sound. At only 23 and hailing from Leicester, England he is one busy young man. Since his debut last year with the EP, Local MVP he has been performing gigs, going to school, and modeling campaigns for Louis Vuitton and Billionaire Boys Club. He says his musical influences are Jay Z, and 50 Cent and loves the 90s rap era. Sainté is not only a rapper but can sing as well. Check out the single he put out last year with R&B singer-songwriter, Mirra May called No Love. The song is infectious and it's on my playlist constantly. This rapper is taking his time and wants to tell a three-dimensional story. I think he will get there with no problem. He is being compared to rapper Westside Gunn.

He first gained attention in 2019 with the single, Envy Me and the song that took him over the top and went viral was Champagne Shots. This young talent is standing out on his own and is not like some of the trap and drill artists in the U.K. He says he enjoys being the outsider or wild card in the music biz. This past October he released his latest EP, Vacation. It's full of some great songs with a lo-fi vibe but I also hear some reggaeton-type sounds. I really like the song Valentine with his rhythmic rapping and the beats. We hope that Sainte comes to the U.S. for some shows. Check out this super-talented rapper-songwriter and support independent music and musicians worldwide. Happy listening!
