Born in Devon, England, Rosie Lowe had an unconventional upbringing. She was raised in a house with no television, music came later in life. She studied at the University of London where she studied popular music and taught herself how to use production software. This served her well in not only writing her own music but also composing and producing. Her music is a mix of R&B with contemporary electronica music.
