Neon Indian is an electronic music band from Denton, Texas. Their music is being defined as the music genre, chillwave. In 2010 Rolling Stone magazine named them one of the best new bands to watch back in 2010. Since then their Mexican born lead singer-songwriter, Alan Palomo has been writing songs since high school. He has also been part of two other bands, Ghosthustler and VEGA. Neon Indian has released three EP's and last year released their latest single, "Toyota Man". They have been praised by such music magazines such as Spin and independent music site, Pitchfork Their music is sample-driven from such influences such as Todd Rundgren and Italian disco.
