Madison McFerrin

As the daughter of the legendary Bobby McFerrin, it’s not surprising that Madison is a versatile and talented vocalist in her own right. Known for her a cappella singing as well as her blend of electro-pop, jazz, and soul. After hearing her self-released album Finding Foundations: Vol. I, Gilles Peterson added her to his Future Bubblers compilation. In its review of debut performance at NYC’s Joe’s Pub, the New York Times noted that her sound “shows wonderful vocal dexterity, deftly swerving from sharp, clearly enunciated staccato bursts to fluttery, free-form melismata.”
