Joyce Wrice

Joyce Wrice has been singing all her life. She remembers as a little girl her father playing R&B records which made her fall in love with the music. She was born and raised in San Diego, California, and is now L.A. based. Joyce Wrice is of mixed race, a Japanese mother, and an African-American father, she sees herself as a mixture of both and embraces them equally.

She grew up listening to such artists as Usher, Alliyah, Brandy, Mariah Carey and others. When she first heard the voice of Canadian singer-songwriter, Tamia she decided that was the career for her. She started by posting videos on YouTube and from there things starting heating up. Her music is influenced by those 90's R&B singers she grew up listening to. A mix of R&B and Soul with some smooth beats and a silky soulful voice to go along with those grooves. She made her debut in 2016 with her EP, Stay Around, and her second EP, Good Morning with the single of the same name which is one of the smoothest I have heard. She has toured both Europe and Asia and has a huge following there. She recently released a new single, So So Sick and will release her debut album early next year. Keep your eye out for this talented singer-songwriter and support independent music and musicians. Happy listening!
