J-Silk is a trio from Bordeaux, France, and London, U.K. The trio is part of a new scene called Future Soul. They mix Soul music with some hip hop beats and electronica. The mix is a smooth groove that you can dance to or just sit back and listen to. The group likes to dress up in Addidas jackets and vintage clothing from that time. They say they love the style and dress from the 70's Soul era and it's the hotness of that time they are in love with. They consider themselves a Soul Pop trio but they have also been listed as a Neo-Soul
