This singer-songwriter Elliphant, real name Ellinor Miranda Salome Olavsdotter from Stockholm, Sweden to an Icelandic family has been making a name for herself, she is not only a singer but also a rapper. She started her music career only several years ago when she was in Paris at a party and met producer, Tim Deneve. Since then this young singer-songwriter has been making some great pop electronic music. She has collaborated with such music artists such as Skrillex, Diplo, and DJ Snake. At the age of 18, she decided to travel the world with a notebook in hand and rebellious self-expression. She released her first single, Tekkno Scene in 2012, and in 2018 released a club banger, War Song.
Elliphant's music has been described as "rasta pop meets hip-hop dancehall. She has been compared to such artists as MIA and has toured the world with singer, Charli XCX and Major Lazar. She recently released her single, Had Enough and Uterus. She is working on her new album and hopes to tour next year.
