Joon Moon

Parisian trio Joon Moon blends soul with elements of electronica, jazz, and hip-hop to create a sound all its own. Julien Decoret worked as a house producer and toured with Nouvelle Vague, performing double bass duties.

After a decade of such adventures, in 2014 he decided to form his own group and enlisted drummer Raphael Chassin and American expat Krystle Warren on vocals.

Employing vintage instruments and recording techniques with a modern sensibility, Joon Moon is also focused on socially-conscious songwriting. The trio’s first release, Chess (EP), came a year later, followed by Tiger and Call Me. The full-length Moonshine Corner hit in 2017.
