This band from Nashville, Tennessee caught my attention because their lead singer’s voice reminded me of The Cure’s Robert Smith in tone and cadence. Summer League’s band members are Reed Jenkins on guitar, Fletcher Sapp on vocals and guitar, Eli Pfotenhauer on drums, Jackson May on bass, and their horn section who call themselves the Horndogs.

The band has been traveling the college circuit with their brand of pop music that blends jazz, and punk rock. Last year they released several singles and “Quirky Girl” is my favorite. They just released their new single “Secret Fling” from their debut album, The Grandiose Affair. An album of songs with different music styles that you will love.
