Growing up in a musical family in German, Andreas was initially drawn to jazz, studying guitar at a conservatory in Amsterdam, but eventually fell in line with his family’s vocation and embraced classical music after moving to New York. During a residency in Andalucia,Spain, he fell under the spell of Flamenco as well. These various influences meet in his own sound. He has released three recordings and is currently the musical director of the New York Flamenco Jazz Project.
