I’m not very big on remakes but when one catches my attention I need to know more.

Meet jazz singer and TikTok sensation Stella Katherine Cole from Illinois. She started posting videos on TikTok in 2020 singing jazz classics and now has a large following.

She has the voice of someone way older than her 24 years and reminds me of jazz singers, Rosemary Clooney or Ella Fitzgerald.  She has caught the attention of jazz singer Michael Bublé as well as pop singer Meghan Trainor and the legendary James Taylor. Stella Katherine Cole graduated from Northwestern University with a major in theater and International relations. She did record an EP of pop fusion songs in 2021 but jazz is where she is making her mark and with that earthy tone she is winning fans all over the world.

She just released her remake of Miley Cyrus’s song, "Flowers" as a jazz waltz and it’s amazing. Stella Katherine Cole will be on a PMJ (Post Modern Jukebox) tour this summer. She also has a GoFundMe page to record her new album and will do a free show here in NYC at The Little Island on June 29th.
