New Music Monday: False Heads

False Heads have released “Day Glow,” a new single from their upcoming album Sick Moon (September 2022).

playMYmusic.FM featured the punk/rock band back in 2018 when the group was fresh on the heels of its second EP, Less is Better. The band that Iggy Pop said was “going places” and showcased on his BBC Radio 6 Music show has since released its debut album, It's All There But You're Dreaming (2020). The album received critical acclaim from Clash Music (“...False Heads at their truest form, track-listing 12 seriously scuzz-rock bangers) and Pop Matters calling it, “one of 2020’s Best British Rock Albums…expertly knitting chaos, beauty, and noise together.”

They’ve also supported Queens of the Stone Age on the road, headlined their own tour, and played numerous festivals throughout Europe. The band has plans for a UK tour in the fall.
