I love women who can rock as great as the men. I came upon this singer’s new single and I love her style. Meet Uche Yara who is originally from Austria but now makes Berlin, Germany her home. This singer-songwriter is also a multi-instrumentalist whose talent cannot be held back.

She started playing percussion at a young age and her Nigerian parents were supportive of their daughter’s talents. Uche Yara is an in-your-face type of performer that is exciting to see live. After graduating from school she started playing out and has played many of the music festivals. This talented young singer even opened up for the Austrian rock band Bilderbuch at a legendary Rolling Stones concert. Her music is a mix of psychedelic rock, tango, and R&B but you can’t just pin her down to one music genre. Last month she made her debut with the single, “Www She Hot” and I’m looking forward to an album release and tour here in the States. Support independent music and musicians worldwide.
