There is nothing more refreshing than hearing some great music. If you have not yet heard of the alternative rock band The Dandy Warhols then here’s a music alert for you. The band out of Portland, Oregon has been making music since 1994. The band consists of lead singer/guitarist Courtney Taylor-Talor, Peter Holmström on bass guitar, keyboardist Zia McCabe and drummer Brent DeBoer.

The band made their debut in 2002 when one of their songs, “Bohemian Like You” was featured in a Vodafone ad. Their popularity ended up catching the attention of Capitol Records and they were signed to a deal. They have since been independent and have released several albums and toured throughout the world. Their music is a mix of psychedelic, garage, and elements of Britpop. They are about to release their new album, Rockmaker on March 15th, and will play Webster Hall here in NYC on March 9th.
