Rosie Lowe is an English soul singer widely praised for her voice and her eclecticism. I was immediately drawn to the beats on the featured track, but throughout her new album, Lover, Other, she moves from mood to mood with stylistic changes that feel very organic. Critics agree. Lowe came on the scene in 2013 with her debut single, ‘"Right Thing." Not one to rush things, she took three year to release her debut album, 2016’s Control, followed by YU in 2019 and a collaboration with pianist Duval Timothy.
