There are a slew of R&B and soul singers who have been releasing new singles and debut albums. Janockeil from Newark, NJ  is bringing back the R&B sound from back in the day. He grew up singing in church and that set things in motion. Many great singers of our time started out singing in their church choir.

His smooth vocals bring sweet sounds to your ears. He is also a producer and a great lyricist. He says his taste in music has expanded and includes pop music, soul, and R&B. Many critics have said his singing reminds them of singer Maxwell. His influences include Mariah Carey, Whitney Houston, and Prince. He made his debut in 2019 with his single, “Be Mine” and released his EP, After. Since then he has been busy with a few projects and just released his new single, “Heaven for Two” which is on my playlist. This is such a sexy song that I keep hitting repeat.
