Former Exit Calm guitarist Rob Marshall and his side project Humanist is a multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, and producer. He says he just picks up his guitar or bass and starts writing on the spot. Based in the U.K. his music style is electronica/industrial pop.

Rob Marshall along with his long-time writing partner Mark Lanegan ( Queens of the Stone Age) were always vibing off each other. Unfortunately, the loss of his friend and music partner had him write songs that although painful helped him get through it. The songs are sometimes dark but also poetic and emotional. He has released several albums since 2017 and is about to release his latest On The Edge of A Lost And Lonely World on July 26th. The album features a host of guest vocalists such as Dave Gahan of Depeche Mode, Tim Smith of Harp, and many others.
