This duo is not your typical folk band. Meet Amy McKay and Ryan Leon, and together they are the folk-pop duo Birds of a Feather. They met while they were members of the country-pop band TinkaBelle.

They left the band and decided to collaborate on songs together. The name for their band came easily since they were “Birds of a Feather.” Their music is folk-pop but I also hear Americana in their songs. Amy McKay is the vocalist but plays the blues harp, piano, and guitar. Ryan Leon also sings and plays guitar and banjo. They debuted in 2016 with their EP Light Up and have released several singles and EPs. They had Ger McDonnell(U2) produce their album debut in 2019. With their busking days behind them, this duo’s harmonies bring emotional depth. They just released their new album Fragments with the accompanying single as a dance version.
