The guitar sound of the band Bdrmm reminded me of old Cure songs. The band from Hull in the U.K. consists of brothers Ryan Smith on vocals, Jordan Smith on bass, Joe Vickers on guitar, Danny Hull on synth and backing vocals, and Luke Irvin on drums. Originally this was a solo project for Ryan Smith but that quickly changed to include all present members.

The band was formed in 2010 and their music is a mix of dream pop, with great melodic guitars. They made their debut in 2019 with the EP If Not, When? and followed it up with its critically acclaimed album Bedroom in 2020. An album with krautrock and 90’s influence alternative music. The band is always looking to change things up both musically and as of this year includes new drummer Conor Murray. They are set to release their second album, I Don’t Know on June 30th and this time their sound draws from ambient sounds to trip-hop and jazz.
