Everything old is new and nowadays there are many artists that are taking the old fashioned sound of Soul and Funk and incorporating it into their own style. Trish Toledo from Carson, California is one such artist. She began singing at age 6 and being the youngest of 3 siblings she was introduced to the music of the '60s and '70s Soul and has blended that sound with her own. Her musical influences are Aretha Franklyn, Brenton Wood, and Barbara Mason. She recently released her latest EP titled, "Dedicated to the Ones I Love," in February of this year.
