The son of Mexican immigrants, OmarApollo grew up listening to pop and soul, from American icons as well as the music of Mexican artists like Pedro Infante, Vicente Fernández, and Estela Núñez. Self-taught on guitar, he crafts his own songs in that vein, releasing his debut EP, Stereo, which highlights his songwriting and soulful vocals.
