Nowadays there are many artists who are incorporating Jazz into their music. One such artist is Lionmilk, aka Moki Kawaguchi from Los Angeles, California. He is along the same lines as Indie Jazz artist, Mndsgn. Pianist, composer, and producer, Lionmilk is making music that is a mix of experimental Jazz and experimental electronic. Although you can hear the strong hip-hop influences as well.
Moki Kawaguchi has said making music for him is like writing a diary only it's audible and people can listen. His musical influences are Indie Jazz artists, Flying Lotus and Karriem Riggins.
