Halocene

The indie band, Halocene from Phoenix, Arizona is making noise on the indie rock-pop scene. This band started out in 2008 and played the Vans Warp tour that year and gained a following. The band members are lead singer, Addie Nicole vocals, guitarist/vocals/producer, Bradley Amick, and Joe Polizzi on drums. The band became popular through YouTube and their covers of well-known songs by such artists as Linkin Park, Queen, System of a Down, and more.

This band has opened up for such rock artists as Blink 182 and Fall Out Boy. They have definitely found their calling and since have been recording all original music. Addie has a powerhouse voice that can knock you out. The band's music can range from heavy rock to pop-rock tunes. What I love about them is they are 100% independent and do everything themselves. This band puts in the work both in the studio and in their business. During the pandemic, they were on the live streaming channel, Twitch where they played live and had fans request songs. The most fun they ever had and really pushed their hustle to get their music out there. They made their debut in 2009 with The Secret followed in 2011 by Can You Hear Us. This band rocks and this past January released their latest EP, Vita Nova( and the single The Mirror featuring Brazilian rock singer, Violet Orlandi. Check out this fun and talented band and support independent music and musicians. Happy listening!
