The second of The Dead Tongues’ two volume release Body of Light/I Am a Cloud is finally out.  Singer/songwriter Ryan Gustafson revealed I Am a Cloud is the more conceptual of the the albums, yet connected in some way. The team he assembled to bring his work to light -- Jenn Wasner (Wye Oak, Bon Iver), Mat Davidson (Twain), Matt Douglas (The Mountain Goats), Joe Westerlund (Califone, Megafaun), Jeff Ratner (Bing and Ruth) -- give tremendous performances on this album. The title track is a contender for my favorite song of the year.
