This week, we again revisit an artist we have featured in the past on playMYmusic.FM. Sharon Van Etten’s latest single, “Used to It,” was released last week. Originally written for the HBO Documentary Baby God, the song was ultimately dropped from the film. Van Etten felt strongly about the song and decided to release it on her own, happy to give it “new life” as she puts it.

Her last full-length (and fifth studio recording) was issued in 2019, Remind Me Tomorrow. Hasn’t been idle in the interim, however, pairing up with Angel Olson on “Like I Used To” and contributing her version of “Femme Fatale” to “I'll Be Your Mirror: A Tribute to The Velvet Underground & Nico.” Several songs are also featured on the Netflix show, Maid.
