London’s Bleach Lab has released its highly anticipated debut album, Lost In A Rush of Emptiness (the title comes from The Flame, an assortment of Leonard Cohen’s lyrics, drawings, and poems released after his death). Produced by Catherine Marks (PJ Harvey, The Big Moon), the band channels its inspirations (the Cure, the Smiths, Phoebe Bridgers) and personal reflections to fashion shoegazey pop that glances back at the 80s while forging its way forward on “an expansive, celestial pilgrimage for the mind, body, and soul.” (DIY Magazine)
