When a song puts a smile on your face you have to check out the artist. Meet French-Malagasy jazz pianist/composer/producer Mathis Picard. He now resides in our great city of New York and has been playing around the city and the world.

He started playing piano at age 3 and became passionate about the instrument. After years of playing and taking classes, he wanted to do more improvisation. He mixes different styles of music from his background. He believes in music’s healing qualities and even named his orchestra, The Sound Orchestra. He made his debut in 2020 with the genre-bending album, World Unity and also released a live album of his piano playing called Live At the Museum in 2022 to critical acclaim. He has played with such artists as Ron Carter, Lee Ritenour, and many others.
