Throughout the years many have said rock music is dead. There was a period where it seemed like it but with new rock bands coming up like The Georgia Thunderbolts my faith is renewed. The band formed in 2015 with founding members Riley Couzzart and Bristol Perry, who met in high school.

The band consists of Zach Everette on bass, Logan Tolbert, guitar; Bristol Perry, drums; Riley Couzzart, guitar, and TJ Lyle on vocals and keyboards. Their brand of southern rock has them playing arenas and opening for such acts as Black Stone Cherry, Blackberry Smoke, and others. These guys paid their dues on the road and debuted their album during the pandemic. Can We Get a Witness caught the attention of music fans and earned critical acclaim from Rolling Stone, Loudwire, and others. They just released their single, “Stand Up” from their forthcoming album Rise Above It All, due on August 23rd. The band is now on tour so catch them live. Support independent music and musicians.
