5 years ago on our New Music Monday they just released their new album last month. Ghost Funk Orchestra from our hometown here in NYC has been part of the R&B/soul music scene for several years.

In 2014 Sean Applebaum, a multi-instrumentalist started experimenting with sounds in his home studio. Their mixing of jazz, psychedelia, soul, Latin, and R&B is a wonderful marriage of funk that you can’t stop listening to. The band is now a 10-piece sound machine that’s a kaleidoscope of music styles. They made their debut in 2019 with the album A Song for Paul. Since then they have released several singles "and last month released their new album, A Trip To The Moon. Check out songs, “Again” and “Eyes of Love.
