I love this singer-songwriter Fleur East, I’m a disciple in the church of funk and this singer has the groove. Born and raised in London, England this singer will make you get up and dance. Her music career did not begin like most musicians, she did not study music in college. She majored in journalism and history.

In 2005 she was part of the girl group Addictiv Ladies and they entered the tv show, X Factor but after week 1 were eliminated. Fleur met some DJs and recorded several dance songs through the legendary dance music label, Strictly Rhythm records. She was also featured on the song “One In a Million” by producers Drumsound & Bassline Smith. The song was on the U.K. singles chart and was featured in the Miss Face of Africa EU ceremony. Fleur is not just a singer but has been a radio host on Hits Radio and even launched her fashion line through the company Lipsy London. This singer can do it all and has also been a featured dancer on the show Strictly Come Dancing. She has released a couple of albums and several singles. She describes her music as “urban-inspired with a few twists.” She just released her new single “Count the Ways” which is funky and has been on constant repeat on my playlist.
