The Rosie G.spot has been a showcase for independent artists from a myriad of musical genres.
The monthly Featured Artists examined two artists that Rosie felt merited special attention. Twofer Tuesday featured two artists working in two different genres. The Jazz Café highlighted artists who mix jazz with other musical styles. In partnership with Indispensable Music. New Music Monday promoted the latest releases by Indie artists in a multitude of genres.
Rosie G. started down this road as a singer, later moving into voice-over work for radio and websites. She landed a coveted role as an on-air personality. She worked for WJAZ-FM - (Jazz), WNEW-AM (American Standards), WRAT-FM (Modern Rock), NYLatinMix.com (Internet Salsa/Merengue radio show), VH1 Radio/Rhapsody.com (Music Programmer for The Perfect Beat) and WBLS-FM (Both Urban and a Dance mix show).
She was even an artist manager at one time. Immersed in the world of music, with her knowledge and love of this most universal art form, she remained determined throughout these different phases to help the next generation of artists achieve their dreams, this site was the culmination of her odyssey.
